Getting a promotion does not necessarily require you to have the best skills and and to work the hardest possible way you can. Sometimes, those things are just not the IT that spells your new position in the scheme of things in your office. It would be stupid of you to just wait like Cinderella for her prince to come and take her higher up to be a queen. To be able to get the attention of the right people, you can try out volunteering yourself for certain assignments. It is wise to be aware of every opportunity that might come to be able for you to showcase your talents and skill. In a meeting, you need to speak your mind at the right place and time. 1) Be generous. If you know someone like your friend, relatives or neighbors that want to help you in your sales career share your blessing to them by sharing your commission checks so that they will not stop helping you.

2) Make use of the best marketing strategy you can apply in your own like flyers, give out brochure to your neighbor who knows they might be interested to buy or help you to sell, telemarketing call the number in your phone book especially the closest one tell them about product and ask them for referrals, use the power of internet to add more exposure to your product. There are free ads site like ZLBD, SULIT, EBAY & etc.

Sometimes this results to promotion or increase in salary. The first thing that the management review is how well you do your task. In one way or the other, they compare your performance to others especially if you have same task or functions. The management would like to know also your other capabilities and areas of improvement. Usually, in appraisals, they are looking for new individuals that would fit certain function especially instead  of hiring outside.

It is very unlikely to see businesses spring one after the other and it is common that they become unsuccessful simultaneously as well. The flourishing and failing of some businesses have a lot of reasons, such as: (1) rough competition, (2) deprived market, (3) consumers consciousness (4) union labors, among others. With the businesses that continued stay tough and booming, it is general to think that the these people are natural, born businessmen. But are there really businessmen or entrepreneurs who are born to be one? Or let say born to do business? In reality, there are no such thing.

In sales, there is a saying that : “Sales People Are Not Born, They Are Made”. And definitely this is true. There are might who are natural born talented and they have the capability to close every deal or sales. Or maybe, they where able to reap the fruits of their labor.

  In order to promote your product well, you need to understand it by heart. You don’t need to memorize those lines cause the bottom line is if a customer ask, you can answer it spontaneously. Remember that your goal is not to impress the clients by your speech but to convince him that the product is right for you.

Have you ever wonder what drives us to do something important? When it comes to work, aside from the pay that we receive there are other factors to consider. First and foremost, It is very essential that we are familiar with our values and that we are not undecided to perform them. Putting merit in everything that we do, particularly in our work, would show that there is more to just living life in the financial sense. Perpetuation of values proves that we respond to a calling of continued existence and triumph that will last a lifetime.

Carry this paper with you while you do your work while satisfying it up with your key accomplishments or activities. The actions that you take for granted before are most likely your key accomplishments that day. Regular organizations has performance advancement planning meetings which are the breaks to showcase your achievement for career promotion. By being positive and creating opportunities, you get better as the chances that you will acquire get the attention of your employer and the career promotion that you earn.
